Abstract

This research is part of work on evaluation. Based on a real observation raised by university teachers at the Ecole Normale Supérieure “Assia Djebar” in Constantine concerning the level of students which continues to deteriorate from one year to another, this contribution aims to put the finger on the evaluative practices of these teachers. And this, by connecting the representations they have about their evaluative practices and what they really evaluate. These analyzes resulted in the existence of gaps between the two. We are convinced that regulating these dysfunctions is likely to bring the objectives of university evaluations closer to the real abilities of students.
