Abstract

In this study, the researcher attempted to show the secret of substituting masculine with feminine or vice versa in both apparent names and pronouns. This is in the field of verbal similarity in the Holy Qur'an where could be found many verses that are similar to other verses. The difference could be limited toa single word which takes the masculine form in one verse, and then a feminine form in a similar verse. This motivated the researcher to look for theresearcher tried to highlight the role of the context with all of its kinds in the interpretation of this reversal and to confirm that every word in the Qur’an had come in
its appropriate position and suitable place.
