Abstract

This study focuses on the functions of the dialect of meanings in the poetry of Mutanabi
and we mean the role played by these letters, which varies according to the different as
well as the multiple uses and contexts, as employed by the speaker to draw the attention
of the address and configured to ensure the response to him and thus the success of the
communication process, and Almutanabi in his poetry used for this the letters are
different from other poets and went beyond the limits of these tools and the creation of
its own uses.
