Abstract

The west was affected by the East and its sciences which translated to their languages to benefit from its heritage that interested the world by its authenticity and artistic value.One group had malicious aims, learned the east’s religious and science to benefit then spread its hostile tendentious ideas . Another differs in method and thought studied objectively and scientifically, where the German school represents that fair direction which has not bad intentions in dealing with Islamic Arabic heritage . Anne marie Schimmel a German orientalist, whom we consider as great model for orientalism. she wrote several works about Sufism and the prophet, she was also influenced objectively by Arabic and its littérature
