The role of Arabization in achieving quality higher education at the Algerian university

Abstract

The issue of Arabization of science has received the attention of modern Arab researchers, who are divided into: a group that believes that Arabization contributes to its progress, and another group that believes the opposite.

            The language of higher education in Algeria is not far from this problem, which was raised severely after independence. Accordingly, this study addresses an issue related to determining the status of the Arabic language in higher education. Does the Arabization of sciences have a role in promoting higher education in Algeria? What are its effects on academic achievement? To answer this, the body of the study was divided into elements that were presented using a descriptive method and the analysis mechanism.

            We have concluded that the Arabization of science is not an option, but rather a necessity that will advance higher education.
