The position of the Algerian newspaper Al-Balagh on the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars and its figures in the period between 1931 AD and 1936 AD - An analytical study

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the position of Al-Balagh Al-Jazairi newspaper on the Association of Algerian Muslim eulama and Its leaders, by studying a sample of the issues of that newspaper, which was concerned with monitoring the activities of the Association of  Algerian Muslim eulama and tracking its news. This was based on a descriptive survey approach and the use of a content analysis tool. The period extending between 1931 AD and 1936 AD was chosen as a field of study for objective reasons.

The study found that the Al-Balagh Al-Jazairi newspaper was strongly opposed to most of the activities of the Association of Algerian Muslim eulama and its leaders, for many reasons. The most important of which is the difference in intellectual orientation of the two parties.
