Difficulties in learning to read among primary school students in Algeria and ways to treat them

Abstract

      Reading is one of the most important study skills for students in various educational stages, through which the individual learns how to read and understand, but we notice the emergence of some reading difficulties among some students even though they are characterized by normal intelligence, so the current study aims to shed light on the difficulties of learning to read For primary school students in Algeria, and how on the basis of these difficulties can be treated, in order to avoid later on the occurrence of a problem in academic achievement, and we will try through this article to define what reading is and how to learn and teach it, as we will seek to know the reading difficulties, their causes, types and symptoms.

Finally, presenting remedial methods and solutions aimed at reducing and dealing with these reading difficulties.
