Distance training among professors at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Constantine 2

Abstract

This study aims to know the viewpoint of the professors at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Constantine-2- on the reality of distance training in terms of its uses, pros and cons, and the difficulties that the university, professors and students face in its application, and also knowing their point of view about dispensing with in-person training. The study included a sample It is made up of 63 professors and the questionnaire was used to collect data and relied on the descriptive analytical approach in presenting, analyzing and discussing the results that indicated the multiplicity of uses of remote training, its pros, its negatives, the difficulties of its application, and the possibility of dispensing with in-person training The results indicated its importance and not giving it up as a result of its pedagogical, psychological, social dimensions and credibility in evaluation, especially the reality of remote training, which seems still far from achieving its goals and desired by professors and students alike.
