Abstract

This article studies Hamo Al-Naqri's logical works, in order to show the innovative signs in the field of Arabic logical studies, and built upon in the development of the contemporary Arab-Islamic logical studies. This research was concerned with standing at the most important features of Al-Naqri's handling of the Western and Arabic logical works, starting by the historical angle that he focused on, Then by explaining the necessity of renewal in the mechanisms for reading heritage texts, And the statement of the philosophical purposes that Al-Naqari targets through his writings on logic, which is to encourage the Arab researchers to create a logical, and philosophical discourse that is taut to heritage, and a competitor and interlocutor to the Western researchers.
