Abstract

This study aims to reveal the relationship between creative thinking and academic excellence among a sample of students in the first year of secondary schools (Algiers), as well as revealing the relationship of the four dimensions of creative thinking to academic excellence,. The use of the descriptive approach as the most appropriate method for the current study, and the application of the Torrance test for creative thinking “formal version B” consisting of three activities, the study found the following results: - There is no relationship between creative thinking and academic excellence. - There is no relationship between the four dimensions of creative thinking and academic excellence.
