Abstract

At the beginning of the age of enlightments, there was a huge wave of Bible criticism, caused by the previous long history of humanity where the religion was the most important element in life, culture and civilization; religion impact was controversary. The western criticism movement had many approaches, methods and schools so, this article tries to put a spotlight on some characteristics of that movement, throughout a good sample from the old testament which is the book of Isiah.
