Abstract

abstract This study aims to highlight the significant media efforts made by Dr. Ahmed Rifai Sharafi, who exploited the press as a platform for spreading his reformative ideas and suggestions, especially after Media openness and the multiparty process in Algeria. It is known that Dr. Ahmed Rifai got his PhD in Arab literature and he worked as a university teacher, imam and author. However, his significant contributions were in journalism as he was an editor of some newspapers and magazines.
