مفهوم النّسبيّة الثّقافيّة وإشكاليّة دراسة الأسطورة في الفكر الياباني الحديث

Abstract

This article tackles the study of myth in modern Japanese religious thought. It
compares the original Japanese term "Shinwa" with the western "Myth". With
reference to the theory of cultural relativism, the article criticizes the usage of
Western concepts of Greco-Roman origin to approach Japanese and nonEuropean, religious texts, and emphasizes the fact that Cultural Relativism
presupposes that 'myth', as a analytical category, should be applied only to
Western religious heritage.
