Abstract

The study aims to describe and classify the singular levels and their semantic fields in the book "Adornment in Islamic Arabic Words" by Abu Hatim Ahmad bin Hamdan Al-Razi (d. 322 H). The author has gathered in his book from the various Arabic words what changed their meaning and meaning in the Islamic era from what it was in the pre-Islamic era, and he was able to put the first building block in the science of the meanings of Arabic names. Classified these vocabulary according to the levels that alert the owner of the "adornment", including what is ignorant Arabs knew before the words and meanings of Islam, including what is Islamic came from the Koran and the Arabs knew its origins and materials, All according to their semantic fields (special vocabulary [names of Allah, the world of the unseen, the other day, the Islamic statutes ...). We have committed ourselves in our classification of the word in question and its morphological image, and mentioned in the Koran and then its significance in this text compared to its original meaning whenever possible
