Abstract

This study attempts to look at the semantic formations of the topic of communication mediation as a concept in its functional dimension, and then discuss social media as a new field of interactions, to finally conclude the set of media practices through the latter, some of which are linked to culture as a mediating practice that represents the cultural essence of social media uses, considering that they are a product of the cultural and technological context. A common approach between them.
