Al-Aqsa Flood in the Poetry of Muhammad Ibn Al-Aqba’ -Structural study-
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study traces the reflection of Al-Aqsa Flood in contemporary Algerian poetry. More to the point, it seeks to examine this battle’s relationship with the principles of commitment in poetry. The poem chosen for the study is «A Hymn for the Glad Tidings of Victory», on which a structuralist analysis is made. One facet in which this approach is prevalent is the poet’s concern over the Palestinian cause: he abides by affirming and applauding the endeavours of Al-Mujahedeen who aspire for retaining the glory and dignity for their country and the whole nation.
