Sufi discourse and its linguistic characteristics
Main Article Content
Abstract
Every science has a subject and a method, and this is what necessitates it having a special conceptual dictionary that we do not find in other sciences, and this is something imposed by the specificity of each science, of course. This speech applies to the science of ethics, charity, or Sufism... as the Sufi masters created Throughout Islamic history, a closed society was subject to strict hierarchy. They also developed linguistic templates or a conceptual dictionary of their own that we do not find among others. This tendency towards isolation and the search for privacy and distinction was imposed by many circumstances, and hence it was necessary to search for the characteristics and features of this discourse to learn more about these motives on the one hand, and to search for the aesthetics of this special linguistic style on the other hand.
