CORT Program on Thinking Skills and its Implications for Developing Dialogue Skills An original study in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah

Abstract

The CORT program (Cognitive Research Foundation) wich was designed by the American Dr. Edward de Bono, is considered an integrated program in the field of teaching thinking and its skills. Andwhat attracts attention in this knowledge program is that all of these skills find their roots and origins in the Holy Qur’an and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet. This is what this article has proven by defining the program and its details, and calibrating that with Sharia principles. The article also revealed the relationship between the thinking skills content of the program and its impact on developing dialogue and communication skills between people.For this reason, it is recommended that it be utilized and included in the training programs of our universities and educational institutions.
