Metaphor and emphasis in Quranic discourse

Abstract

This research seeks to stand at the metaphor and its function of affirming meaning in the Quranic discourse. It is one of its miracles, as it combines the beauty of the word with the accuracy of expression, the splendour of photography and the ingenuity of systems; That's why we tried to articulate its role in the Koranic discourse specifically, by standing up to its assertive function for its meanings and purposes, by highlighting the mechanisms that allowed it to do so.

We stopped on a range of issues, starting with the concept of metaphor, after which their types and assertive function were presented in the Koranic discourse, and then we pointed out the aftermath of the arguments in it, and finally the grammatical composition of the metaphor and its relationship to the meaning, based on applied models of the Quranic discourse, in order to clarify each of these elements.
