Algerian public newspapers overage of the Al-Aqsa Flood - El moudjahid newspaper as an example –

Abstract

This study aims to find out how Algerian public newspapers covered the Al-Aqsa flood in the Gaza Strip in Palestine. El moudjahid newspaper was chosen as a model in this research for historical considerations because of its long history in the struggle and in demonstrating the voice of truth during the glorious liberation revolution in the face of the French colonialists.

 One of the most important findings of the study is that el moudjahid newspaper moved in the same direction as the Algerian governmental and popular position towards the Palestinian issue and the Al-Aqsa flood in particular, and gave a large and prominent space in its coverage of the event, and reported news from reliable official Palestinian sources, and also showed from the beginning its support. To the Palestinian people in their plight and expose Zionist practices.
