Abstract

The present study is an attempt to discover the views of the Algerian audience towards the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation’s media coverage, namely by France 24 and BBC Arabic channels. Since its launch on October, 7th 2023, such a military operation has received direct media coverage by different Arab, Islamic and international channels.

In order to reach the study’s objectives, the survey tool has been chosen since it demonstrates to be appropriate for such studies. The data have been collected via an electronic form from the samples.

The study concludes that the Algerian university student considers that both channels’ coverage of the said operation is highly biased to the Zionist entity compared to the Palestinian resistance. Moreover, the study demonstrated that most students believe that media coverage exercise a dishonest position, and that they aims to reach an Arab audience that doesn't speak either French nor English.
