Boycotting the elections causes and proposed solutions

Abstract

Democracy is based on the involvement of citizens in political life through elections, which are the cornerstone in strengthening the belonging of citizens to their homeland, so countries seek in each electoral entitlement to achieve high participation rates in elections, and bet on that, while the boycott remains the biggest challenge for the citizen in the face of the authorities, and not participate in.this phenomenon has become a problem that worries desision makers ,their motives and causes varried : political ; economic and social  Moreover , citizens lose confidence in all what is political .

To iliminate this phenomenon,  it should take measures to restore citizens confidence in the authority by approving bold steps,such as canceling the results of elections in which participation rates are low
