The linguistic term in the book "The Meanings of the Qur'an" by Al- Akhfash Al- Awsat -A study in structure and concept-

Abstract

This study aims to identify the linguistic terms contained in the book "The Meanings of the Qur'an" by Al-Akhfash Al-Awsat. Indeed, this study is achieved in view of how the book employs and deals with the linguistic term by tracing models of these phonetic, morphological, grammatical and rhetorical terms. Moreover, it deals with these terms with study and analysis from both the structural and conceptual sides, with an indication of the extent of its investment of the terms of its predecessors and the comparison between them, or its uniqueness with its own terms. and the study resulted that Al-Akhfash invented many of his own morphological and grammatical terms in which he differed from the advanced linguists, while adopting their terminology with regard to the phonetic and rhetorical levels.
