Digital solidarity through social networks and its effectiveness in civil society organizations

Abstract

Through this research paper, we seek to identify another meaning of the meanings of social solidarity outside the classical traditional field, and outside the field of personal communication, and the mechanisms of organic solidarity and mechanical solidarity, which is solidarity in the digital environment or digital space and open society, the latter of which is one of the outcomes of the communication environment. Al-Raqimah, whose features are especially evident through social media networks, is an important aspect in expanding the circle of social solidarity and community participation, especially in cases of emergencies, crises and disasters. Accordingly, the study came to introduce digital solidarity and its role in expanding the field of social solidarity and volunteer work in civil society organizations.
