Abstract
Travel narratives in the Algerian travel literature provided critical approaches that worked on the mechanisms of narrative writing and the problem of naturalization of travel texts. Within these general rhetorical contexts, a new vision emerged in analysis and critical approach, generating a literary feature concerned with monitoring the representations of the other and its formations in the mirror of the self. Accordingly the "travel narrative" evoked various cultural loads that constituted the material of his speech as well as the manifestations of the self in its creative narrative practice.

In which it sought to portray the other, in the context of a narrative cultural journey, to introduce the lives of African people.
