Abstract

    It is well known that the Arabic novel has become closer to reality, and by that we mean the questions of identity, religion and heritage with all the divergence and difference in that, so it was necessary for the Arab novelist to open up, in turn, to the discourses and languages that coexist in the society in which he lives, while taking note of the cultural references that Every discourse and every language relies on it, as he is no longer just a creator waiting for inspiration, but rather a researcher who takes pride in daring and questioning. According to this, we decided in our research to proceed with the question of cultural reference from the portal of polyphony, which is the outlet that revealed to us multiple affiliations and identities, because the research blog was exposed to a subject of great sensitivity, which is the subject of the relationship of Jews with Muslims in a small Yemeni village ruled by blind fanaticism. , which would not have been possible without the elements of pluralism and openness. To what extent can these two elements be an effective tool to reach the cultural reference from which the sound element emerges?
