The origin of the names of Algerian cities - a study of models-

Abstract

The article is a research about the origin of the names of  Algerian cities. So I try to study the origin of names, and every change in city names .Because we have a lot of names such as : Canaanite names, Phoenician, Berber, Romanian, and Arabic names too like: Adrar, Tuat, Tiaret , Mostaganem, Tindouf , Chlef , Mila, Ténès , Laghwat . Including why cities are called; Like the historical reason, and the reason for stability, and the reason for the current or changing naming.

 At the end of this article we have conclusions: there are city names that resulted from the description of the place or as an adjective to it. And we do not forget the names of cities that have changed in history, and because of the linguistic derivation of the words of city names.
