Abstract

This study aimed at examining the extent to which medical errors affect the family relations of the victims, and to identify the dimensions of the severity of these errors, which not only harm the health of the patient but also expand to affect the social and family aspect, by adopting a method of case study ,which we applied to a sample of victims of medical errors. This study found that medical errors actually affect the family relations of the victims, the effects of which may be ‏ separation and divorce in the event that one of the parties to the wrong relationship does not accept the other party's fault, and also affect the material level of the families whose budget is divided between the requirements of daily living and the costs of treatment and follow-up required by the victim's case.There are families who lost their livelihood as a result of medical.
