Ibadite Manuscripts Heritage in the Public Library of Sheikh Ammi Said Foundation - Ghardaia:a bibliometric analysis

Abstract

This study aims in highlighting the importance of manuscript indexing by the model of the Library of Heritage Department of Sheikh Ammi Said institute in Ghardaia, and its role in cataloguing of several manuscripts in the M'zab valley region.

The study attempted to surround the intellectual and cultural life of the M'zab valley and its contribution to the creation of libraries of manuscripts. Then it gives an overview of Sheikh Ammi Said institute in Ghardaia and its Library of the Heritage Department by its strategy, principles and methods.

Then the bibliometric study of the manuscripts index of Library of the Heritage Department of Sheikh Ammi Said institute through subjective distribution of manuscripts, and to discover the main authors who wrote these manuscripts.
