From the norm to the transgression what do we say about the feminization of language today?

Abstract

The evolution of reflections on linguistic tools allowing the deconstruction of gender inequalities in language has recently given rise to the birth of several strategies, the most classic of wich is that of the feminization. It is a question in this study to dresse this strategie as well as their main practices which hope to overcome the current norm to change language and mentalities. Thus, this article aims to question, by means of a questionnaire, specialists in different areas of the francophone world in ordre to know their point of view as to effectiveness of new strategie in facing gender inequalities in language and society.
