The contemporary narrative witnessed developments that affected the Algerian narrative discourse and its
topics, and due to the existence of a relationship between the narrative discourse and history, we tried to
study the novel "The Prince's Book" by Wassini Al-Araj in order to find out the missing events in the life of
Emir Abdelkader, especially with regard to the period he spent in exile in France and the reasons for the
novelist's evocation ? And to what extent it fulfilled the literal history? Stop at the relationship that the
Prince had with Antoine Debuch. His invocation of the prince's personality was an evocation of the history
of Algeria and highlighting the events that were the transformation in the relations between the ego and the
other, and the acceptance of peaceful coexistence, interfaith dialogue and the culture of civilizations.
