Abstract

Since the emergence of the book Al-Mawwafaat by Imam Al-Shatibi, the science maqasid has become important in Islamic studies However, after the abundance of descriptive research in this science, methodological questions should be put forward The important question in this study:  Where did the process of renewal arrive in the science of maqasid?  In which direction should he go?
