The free flow of information’s and the formation of the public sphere in Algeria challenges and impediments

Abstract

This article aims to display the relationship between the free flow of information and the
formation of the public sphere in Algeria ;as the more free debate dominates and the freedoms
publication and publicity and the transparency in managing public affairs are anchored ; the more
public sphere gets possible for formation ,This topic is becoming increasingly important especially
That censorship and control of the free flow of information has become difficult for the polical
power ; not to mention the entrance of new actors insisting on the democracy ;and the movement of
February 22 nd might be the best evidence of this.
The research arrived to the conclusion that political system in Algeria must guarantee the freedoms’
and rights of citizens without exceptions by freeing all information circulation means.
