Pedagogical measurement of mathematics and computation difficulties based on approach to competencies

Abstract

Professionals agree to consider mathematics an indicator of the level of scientific thinking of the individual,
and our study entitled "Educational measurement of mathematics and difficulties of evaluating according to
approaches to competencies". The aim is to identify the reality of the educational evaluation of the material
in secondary education institutions and to identify the most important difficulties in the process of
measuring and evaluating education according to the standards of approach to competencies.The researcher
used the descriptive approach in analyzing the subject at the field level to verify claims after the survey tool
was used to collect and count data related to the mathematics pedagogical measurement corresponding to the
most important evaluation difficulties, although they applied other methods of measurement such as
observation and performance testing, due to a number of difficulties in pedagogic and organizational terms.
