Procedural criminal protection of consumer under Algerian legislator.

Abstract

The Algerian legislator has given the consumer a procedural protection from the different fraud crimes which might constitute an danger to their material and moral interests, therefore this preventive role has been assigned to the judicial police and other agents certified according to specific texts, as well as fraud fighting agents mentioned in the article N.03/09 related to consumer protection and fraud fighting.The Algerian legislator has also granted the judiciary the prerogative of the follow up of crimes perpetrated against the consumer for having the authority in the follow up of all law contraventionsIn general .
