People’s understanding levels of the Holy Quran. A Proposed Model

Abstract

The search started from a specific problem, which is: Do all people have to understand the holy Quran?  That is because there are two different parties on this issue; one of whom claims that the Quran can be understood by all people, without regard to a method, and the second party thinks that the Quran is only for scholars to understand, and that people are not authorized to try to understand it. The research deal with defining concepts such as contemplation, understanding and interpretation, and proving that the method is necessity in life, and it must employed in understanding the Qur’an/ The research suggest a model for all to understand the holy Quran, by Highlighting the specifications of each level and the necessary requirements. The most important result of the research that it combines these levels in one plan, and it takes a proper position that gives the Quran its suitable role, and respects science methods.
