Abstract

This study aims to show the effects of the defeat of Marocco in the Isley battle in 1844 and on Emir Abdelkader resistance. It focuses on the steps of this central popular Algerian Resistance. I’ll discus how did the defeat infront of the French forces affect on this relation. From other the bad effects against Emir resistance. However Marocco was really obliged to take this attitude against his neighbors, In favour of the French forces, and protecting his throne, as well. As a result, the king of Marocco prevented his aids to Emir Abdelkader. Finally, Emir’s resistance received a big hit, because he became chased by the French and the Maroccon forces at the same time.
