Abstract

This article includes a study of the new method appeared inwhat was
termed in Western thought, including post-modernism, and is a method
of combining all the humanities, which came out of Western modernity,
and that this approachis consistent with the general spirit of
what must modernity andwhich is characterized
by therevolution onthe stability and onendoscopy, and templates intellectual
and methodologicalcreated by Western modernity, and have been in
this article isthe analysis method of Edward Said, in its application to
criticism cultural picture painted by Orientalism about Islam, as well as the
stereotype that picture by the Western media to Islam after a period of the
last quarter of the twentieth century.
