Abstract

This study aimed to attempt to identify the nature of the roles played
by the academic supervisor, in the supervision of theses process, as well as
to evaluate his role by graduate students, so as to find out the degree of
exercise supervisory role.
and has concluded the following results:1- Academic supervisors practiced
supervisory roles on various degrees depending on the viewpoint of graduate
students.-2 The cognitive role has topped the list of the order in terms of the
roles exercised by the academic supervisor 3-The administrative and
humanitarian role is absent in the academic supervisory exercise
