abstract The current era is characterized by the rapid and continuous development of the means of modern technology, and with the increasing quantity of information and its diversity and the diversity of forms and different sources, In light of the stunning development in the production of modern technologies for communications and transport , where there has become a need for libraries of various kinds of Ikpe and all of these changes and investing in the information. From this standpoint, the private libraries "Libraries Senate" Emir Abdelkader University of Islamic Sciences is an important one entity university part, which is shared with her most important goals , if not all, they are interested in feeding the university community with information and knowledge vessels in different types and forms. And the evolution of its, and this is reflected positively on the mission of the university and our users in information. On this basis , this was a Research, to deal with the reality of the application of information technology for libraries in Constantine, and Senate libraries Emir Abdelkader University of Islamic Sciences as a case study. And we have adopted in our study on the descriptive and analytical method in reaching results.
