Abstract

The curent paper sheds light above the crisis afflicting the Islamic world in facing the advanced Western civilization which mainly
reflected in the cognitive model and controls the world through the
categories of modernity, secularism, and other concepts that were
imposed on the Islamic world. The Islamic world deals with those
western models in two different way, sometimes with apprehension
and other times with harry. However, the effective and useful way in
dealing with such matters is to have consciousness and awareness
of its methods and the different ways of benefiting from it. Although
some of the concepts are considered and viewed as a civilized enemy
that hinder the achievement of the cognitive model that stems from
the Tawhidic ـ monotheistic- paradigm.
