Abstract

This report introduces some of the efforts exerted in Tafseer service (Quran Exegesis), by one
the Scholars in Hadith in the contemporary era. This man is Abu El-Achbel Ahmed Ben
Mouhamed Shakir (1377 AH /1958DC), he was known in the scientific fields by his research in
the prophetic Sunnah, studying, teaching, writing, revising, and checking hadiths, however
many people haven’t any idea about his attention paid to Tafseer books such : Tafseer El- Tabari
and Tafseer Ibn Kathir, and the refinement and promotion of the Exegesis lesson. Consequently,
this study aims to describe and class some of his efforts, seeking to highlight Ahmed Shakir as an
interpretative personality with her high rank and characteristics, beside his hadith personality,
and also depicting the interpretative process in his efforts.
