Abstract
The diplomatic relations between the Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser and the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic (GPRA) witnessed many tensions, especially in the first years of its establishment as a result of the divergence of views that ended with the transfer of its headquarters from Cairo to Tunis, after pointing the finger of accusation at both of Fathi Al-Deeb, head of the Egyptian Intelligence Service and the President Gamal Abdel Nasser himself, to stand behind what is historically known as Colonel Muhammad Ammouri's conspiracy; Therefore this study which relies primarily on some sources from published and recorded testimonies, in addition to the personal notes of some ministers in both governments such as : Tawfiq al-Madani, Ahmed ben Bella, Fathi al-Deeb, Benyoucef Benkhedda and Abdelhamid Mehri ..., aims to clarify the nature of the relations that brought together the President Gamal Abdel Nasser and the GPRA (1958-1962), focusing on President Abdel Nasser’s stance towards the crises and problems that the GPRA knew which almost take down the liberation revolution many times.
