A study in linguistic and quoranic terminology moderation and centrism as model

Abstract

Talking about moderation and centrism became urgent after the changes that Islamic society
is facing lately. although there are many different writings and researches about this topics. but
they all find execuses to avoid speaking about the topic. They usually forget that both terms are
specific quoranic terms that should have an exact definition to be the criterion for a correct
understanding .
This research aims at defining the concept of moderation and centrism through digging deep
in the meaning of both terms and also through clarifying the linguistic and quoranic relations
between them. From the one side and between the definitions of this terms and their limitation.
from the other side . this is going to be done through basing on legislative examples for both
terms in quoran
In order to clarify the interference between moderation and centrism and to avoid going astray
from them and falling in the extremism caused by misunderstanding . misclarification of terms
and understanding the devine meaning of verses and quoranic terminology.
