The role of popular poetry in the Great Libertion Revolution
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Algerian popular poetry was not immune to the current events and facts in the homeland during the great liberation revolution. He tried to move it forward towards continuity and steadfastness by spreading enthusiasm in the hearts of the people and making them aware of their fate. He drew for them the features of the way in which the colonizer tried to mislead them with all forms of violence and tyranny, restricting aspirations and hopes.. Was popular poetry able to contain the new experience with all its standards? Was it able to be present in the nation’s consciousness and were we able to lead it professionally?
