Main Article Content
Abstract
This research sheds light on the legal basis for holding the environmental criminal responsible for environmental violations, especially that the environmental criminal law is still not codified and not fully stable, and who are the persons authorized to bear it.
In fact, we find that the Algerian legislator has regulated the field of criminal responsibility, an organization that can be relied upon to a large extent in punishing the environmental criminal, who we have concluded that he could be a natural person responsible for personal responsibility or responsible for the actions of others, and he could be a legal person qualified to assume responsibility.
