Abstract

This study aims to clarify an important doctrinal issue that has been the most important motive for the Jews to wage wars, represented in the “Promised Land” doctrine. All this is in the reality of the Jewish wars, past and present, since their entry into Palestine in 1186 BC until our present time. The importance of this study also lies in the fact that it directed scientific criticism of this belief through both Jewish and Islamic sources. Therefore, we are trying to answer a number of questions, the most important of which are: What is the doctrine of the land? What is the promised and what is its importance to the Jews and what are the wars that the Jews fought for that? What is the status of this belief in the balance of scientific criticism?
