Abstract

Imam Nasir al-Din al-Mashthali, Mufti of Bejaia and its jurist, one of the great figures of Algeria in the seventh century AH, had a prominent impact on the scientific movement in Algeria during this stage. His country, and this article that we have before us reveals to us about the efforts of Imam Nasir al-Din al-Mashthali in theology and creed through his explanation of the creedal introduction to the Kairouanese message, which is one of the well-known scholarly texts in the Islamic West. The doctrine of Imam Nasir al-Din al-Mashthali is still in manuscript, and perhaps it is the only trace we have of the writings of this great imam.
