Western study and its goals according to Hassan Hanafi

Abstract

The topic of « the weirdness »  with which this research deals regarding its origins and its linguistic and terminological sense; according in particular to the thinker Hassan Hannafi, who has given this term a specific and a clear concept and has drawn its perspectives, its themes and its goals, these latter which I tried to display and explain the different criticisms that were stimulated it and discussed, also clarifying Hassan Hannafi reactions about them  to arrive to what extent of its importance and ability to be applied in the recent fact.

   It has been shown to us that the goals of weirdness for Hannafi expressed through a pride and big ambition of him to change the relation’s shape between the West and the East; without many difficulties and obstacles that prevent its application ability.
