Abstract
This research aims to highlight the role of Child Theater in achieving the national identity of the Algerian child through a critical approach. In light of the widespread and rapid use of smart devices for children within different age groups, it appears that our children have been affected by modern technology especially in the recent period due to the outbreak of Covid 19. Therefore, it is our duty as researches to consider the transformation of the scenery of our lives and our children’s lives towards isolation and individuality. We realize that the world would not impede the evolution and creativity, but does this mean we have to give up our collective imagination and our identity ties? How can theater consolidate the principles of identity without abolishing the beauty of the scenery and pleasure the child finds in his digital world? This research concluded a set of results, the most important of which is that if we succeed in employing the theater’s renewed energies, we may be able to contain the aspirations of a contemporary child and draw his attention towards acquiring new teachings that pour in the heart of identity concepts.
